Over a focused 4-hour session combining instructor-led teaching with hands-on exercises, participants will learn how to estimate and reduce emissions across common digital research activities. The course covers core sustainability concepts, introduces approaches for estimation, and uses case studies to identify high-impact interventions in different scenarios. By the end, attendees will be able to assess carbon-intensive steps in their own workflows and apply practical methods and tools to cut emissions.
