Gravitationally Induced Decoherence
Is gravity the ultimate environment for enforcing classicality in macroscopic mass objects? In this colloquium, I will begin with a brief historical overview of work motivated by the latter question, and then describe our own relevant work in progress, including a particularly fruitful analogy with optomechanical systems.
