Many of our staff (Medicine, and expanding to other faculties, e.g., Bioengineering and the Business School) use clinical data.
One area where risk was identified is the use of ³Ô¹ÏÍø emails to transmit/receive patient information.
³Ô¹ÏÍø staff receive identifiable patient information across ³Ô¹ÏÍø’s email system; consequently, they need some training and support to handle data safely and confidentially.
This e-learning course explores the concepts of confidentiality and data protection. Although this is a complex field, the course aims to provide you with the framework and tools to confidently interpret research requirements.
